Guernsey Castle Wedding

Day 1:

On the 25th August, we went round to EJ and Andy's house in St Martins, Guernsey for the first day of their two - day wedding. This day was a very sweet, emotional and relaxed affair just with close family and friends they could sign the register in front of - the greffier being Stephen Francis.

I particularly liked all the heart and love themed decorations throughout the house to echo the whole ceremony.

The musicians that were playing in the garden are called Kirsty Dempster and George Russell - I would definitely recommend them for any more similar events!

The afternoon was filled with many touching moments -

Day 2:

This all started with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready in a room at the OGH Hotel in St Peter Port Town. I've never seen champagne - pink sequin bridesmaid dresses before, but they really looked stunning and sparkled in whatever light throughout the day.

Moving onto the ceremony now, this was held at Castle Cornet, an ancient harbour fortress located on the coast of Guernsey. Like the first day, music is something that played a huge role at the Castle, with this particular musician below playing music at the entrance to get guests into the medieval castle theme!

The dresses in the golden light and the backdrop of the castle really work well with these group shots...

I'm always available to shoot weddings, so if you're interested please contact me on despresrosemary@gmail.com, or follow me on my instagram to see what I'm up to.
